Million dollar homepage
A 21 year old in the UK has created a million dollar webpage. Er, actually he wants to sell a grid of 1 million pixels on his homepage for $1 each, so that he can finish college debt free. He seeded it by selling $400 worth to his brother but now it looks like more people have bought his pixels. He has even got some mainstream press coverage in the guardian and the beeb. Stunts like this have been tried in the past. A very small percentage of novel ideas have been successful. Although I have no money to send to the website, I am helping out by providing free publicity. I am sure all my blog readers (yes both of them) will click the link below.

These just look like silly copycat ripoffs. Not that the original concept isnt silly. Some people on the internet are doing what they do best - copy other people. http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/faq.php#12

Yes another copy cat, but this is one is actually better designed. Advertisers do not have to wait 24-48 hours to have their ads posted, it is done instantly. Nor do they have to figure the location either. It is done instantly by a click of a mouse. WEhile they are more copy ctas, thi sis new and improved.

I found this one.
It’s something new to me because this guy is giving avaw part of his money to his advertisers. It’s something that I haven’t seen on other buy pixels sites.
